COUNTLESS complaints and I learned quite a bit about the many systemic issues. But, I can’t spend a lot of time reading there because it is so frustrating to see the scammers, LACK of action, and the many people wanting to join a lawsuit but unwilling or unable to document their claims and/or lobby legislators and regulators.
It is also frustrating to see members working in the industry claiming to want to help via private messages while they’re actually MARKETING their products and services.
Anybody who is sincere about helping must do so publicly.
My client paid me for years to deal with Sunnova. We got 4 new panels after BBB mediation in 2018. But it did not end her troubles with Sunnova. At the time I couldn’t find much about Sunnova on FB and I’m so glad that thousands found the Sunnova group.
However, Facebook is not a good way to solve any problem. It’s primarily for marketing — a great way to find others with Sunnova issues.
There is no point in “helping” one person at a time with this systematic fraud and abuse. That’s why I started this Sunnova Knowledge Base with descriptions of common issues, legal research, and hopefully, to hold Sunnova accountable and create better consumer protection laws.
