2025/6/25 2nd Sunnova / Kroll notice of Ch. 11 emailed to customers

On June 8, 2025, Sunnova Energy International Inc. (“Sunnova” or the “Company”) announced that the Company and certain of its subsidiaries filed petitions for chapter 11 relief in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas to facilitate a sale process for certain of the Company’s assets and business operations. 

Sunnova intends to continue operating its business in the ordinary course throughout the sale process, with a goal of securing a long-term solution for the Company’s business operations under new ownership. Importantly, at this time, the Company is continuing to monitor, manage, and service existing in-service solar and battery storage systems as usual.

As part of the chapter 11 court process, Sunnova’s claims and noticing agent, Kroll, is required to distribute certain notices to stakeholders. Since you are considered a “party in interest,” you are receiving the below Notice of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Case, which marks the beginning of Sunnova’s chapter 11 process.  Please note that you do not need to take any action upon receipt of this notice.
